About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to support the development and implementation of career and college exploration programs for students in grades K-12. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a variety of career development activities, including tours, fairs, and the use of assessment instruments. The role also involves providing professional advisement to students on apprenticeship, career pathways, and work experience, as well as collaborating with school counselors to support post-secondary education and career interests. The Career Coach will work closely with industry leaders to foster apprenticeships and will be expected to have exceptional interpersonal skills to mentor and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have an AA in a relevant field, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The role requires excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and business partners. Knowledge of career development, counseling principles, and local training and employment opportunities is essential. The ideal candidate will be capable of teaching a variety of skills to students and will be expected to have the ability to earn a Global Career Development Facilitator certificate within the first year of employment. The position demands a high level of organization, the ability to manage time effectively, and a commitment to providing quality customer service.
