Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Hoffman Estates, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Operations Support Specialist to provide high-level support to two Vice Presidents. This is a dynamic role within a fast-paced, growth-driven organization that values innovation, efficiency, and excellence.
Position Summary: The Operations Support Specialist will play a key role in driving critical initiatives and supporting day-to-day operations for two senior executives. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a high level of professionalism, and a proactive approach to project coordination and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a key liaison between the VPs and internal/external stakeholders
- Manage multiple cross-functional projects from initiation through completion
- Track project milestones, prepare progress updates, and escalate risks as needed
- Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive review
- Coordinate and prioritize scheduling, action items, and follow-ups across departments
- Analyze data and generate actionable insights to support strategic initiatives
- Assist with budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management
- Maintain discretion with confidential information and sensitive communications
- Streamline and enhance project management processes and reporting tools
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree preferred (in Business, Operations, or related field)
- 3-7 years of project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
- Experience with SAP and Power BI strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
