Job overview:

The Technical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the compliance of group-wide standards for process equipment and technologies. The role involves managing delegated investment projects in collaboration with the TPM team, overseeing the necessary documentation, and ensuring accurate reporting. This position also holds accountability for food safety, quality standards, and promptly reporting any deviations to the relevant authority personnel. Be open minded and think outside the box.

Leadership tasks:

  • Optimize technical processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Plan and schedule work for technicians, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Assist in process optimization and project implementation (planning, FAT, training).

Individual tasks

  • Maintain spare part inventory and order critical parts. Manage invoice categorization (Medius).
  • Review and prioritize the "Work Request List" in Navision, providing guidance as needed.
  • Identify spare part requirements for machinery and manage maintenance plans.
  • Serve as Navision Tech key user for spare parts and maintenance software.
  • Support technicians in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Oversee regular cleaning duties and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Evaluate suppliers, manage proposals, and enforce technical procedures (e.g., GM-Safe, SQF).
  • Optimize processes and ensure technological consistency across plants.
  • Plan maintenance weeks, in collaboration with Production and ensure safety compliance.

Leadership Tasks

  • Conduct 1:1 meeting with individual Line Technicians when needed for training purpose
  • Supervise and train labor force for optimum performance
  • Monitor, Coach and Report on attendance, daily.
  • Assist with 10-20-30-60-90 reviews conducted by the technical Manager
  • Assist with mid-year and year-end reviews preparation
  • Responsible for proper line onboarding of new employees
  • Assist with monitoring, schedule and report on employees’ vacation / sick time
  • Conduct Weekly Shift Huddles
  • Assist with planning of staffing needs for technical department
  • Cost responsible for technical budgets (Spare Parts) in cooperation with the Technical Manager
  • Optimization of technical processes and costs savings
  • Controlling and establishing work schedule for technicians
  • Coordinate the production of multiple gluten-free products within the company guidelines and objectives

Additional:

  • Serve as a technical representative on the Quality, SQF, and HACCP teams.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the department.

Requirements

  • Over 4 years of experience in a maintenance supervisor role. Over 6 Years in Industrial Maintenance knowledge.
  • Must be a hands-on Supervisor, when required must work Saturday and/or Sunday.
  • Working time frame 4pm - 12 am or 10am – 6pm Depending on the needs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
  • Experience as an electrician preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
